Open Windows is proud to be part of the Queensland Supply Chain and Logistics Conference.

Melbourne, Victoria - 29 August, 2011 - Microsoft’s 2010 Australian Innovation Partner of the Year, Open Windows is proud to be part of the Queensland Supply Chain and Logistics Conference.

It’s the largest conference of its kind in the state and will be celebrating twelve years this week.

The Queensland Supply Chain & Logistics Conference is organised each year by leading industry associations including the Supply Chain & Logistics Association of Australia, (SCLAA) the Australian Institute of Packaging (AIP), QUT School of International Business, CIPS Australia, the Australasian Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS) and the South East Queensland Procurement Network group. The Australian Logistics Council (ALC) also supports the event.

Building on its already successful reputation, the Queensland Supply Chain & Logistics Conference is the largest referred international event for the state of Queensland and will engage industry, government and academic researchers and teachers in an exploration of trends and opportunities for the industry.

The theme for the two day conference this year is “Solving the Supply Chain Puzzle” and will take place at the Sofitel Brisbane attracting approximately 300 delegates. With a diverse range of plenary and breakout sessions, the conference will kick off at 8.45am on the 1st September, and close at 2.30pm on the 2nd September.

Open Windows National Sales Manager, Jim Zelener will be there to demonstrate the benefits of porting solutions onto the Windows Azure environment, which dramatically cuts costs and deployment times when delivering Open Windows’ solutions, in comparison to traditional solutions being deployed in-house.
