MidCentral District Health Board yesterday agreed to fund a new contract management system to support the board's procurement policy and procedures. It is the first DHB in New Zealand to decide on a system that will see all contracts centrally administered, which will enable oversight of contract management and procurement processes with the objective of always ensuring that the DHB achieves best value for money.
