The Honourable Jeffrey Kennett AC – Chairman & Non-executive Director, Open Windows
The Hon Jeffrey Kennett AC was a Member of the Victorian Parliament for 23 years and served as Premier of the State of Victoria from 1992 to 1999. He joined parliament after a military career as an Officer in the Royal Australian Regiment, serving both at home and overseas.
As well as being Chairman of the Board of Open Windows since 2005, Mr Kennett is currently Chairman of EQT Holdings Limited and a Director of Seven West Media Ltd. He is also Chairman of CT Management Group Pty Ltd, and a Director of Amtek Corporation Pty Ltd
Mr Kennett is the Chairman of The Torch, a program assisting incarcerated Indigenous men and women and post their release.
Mr Kennett was the founder of beyondblue: the national depression, anxiety and suicide initiative and was Chairman from 2000 – 2017.In addition, he is also President of the Hawthorn Football Club, having previously served as President from 2005-2011.
In 2005 Mr Kennett was awarded the Companion of the Order of Australia, Australia’s then highest civilian. He has also been awarded an Honorary Doctorate in Business (honoris causa) by Ballarat University in 2000 and an Honorary Doctorate of Laws (honoris causa) by Deakin University in 2014.
Shane McInnes – Managing Director, Open Windows
As a civil engineer and experienced project manager, Shane’s career began managing major construction contracts after graduating the University of Melbourne in Civil Engineering. Over the last three years, Shane has attended the OPM executive education programme for business owners over an elapsed nine week period at Harvard Business School in Boston, USA.
Shane developed the original Contracts Register database that computerized the Victorian Local Government contract management process in the early 1990s. He later developed the ideas behind this work to invent the base contracts software which was the first product offered by Open Windows.
Shane is the original founder of Open Windows and is currently the full time managing director of the Open Windows group.
Adam McInnes – CEO, Open Windows Software
Adam McInnes, co-founded Open Windows with his brother Shane in 1994 and currently leads the Open Windows Software business as CEO.
Adam gained his depth of experience and knowledge of contract management working as a commercial construction manager in Victoria in the early 1990s. He has a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science from The University of Melbourne and often speaks on contract management & procurement and also frequently blogs on relevant topics.
Russell Doig – General Manager – Operations, Open Windows Software
Russell Doig has over 16 years’ experience at Open Windows, most recently in the position of Programme Manager. Russell has been integral in the strategic development of both the product and the business over the years and a major contributor to the success of Open Windows continued growth.
As General Manager of Operations, Russell leads the Melbourne based delivery team of consultants, developers and support team in ensuring successful outcomes for all client engagements. He leads innovative product & service development and delivery to provide continued value to our clients and the procurement industry.
