Open Windows has entered into an agreement for their cyber-security consulting division, Open Windows IDENTITY, to be acquired by Professional Services company EY.

This acquisition will not affect Open Windows Software, the sister company of Open Windows IDENTITY, which will continue operating under the Open Windows brand name as one of Australia’s leading providers of eSourcing and Contract Management software, based in Melbourne.

Open Windows IDENTITY was established in 2012 and quickly grew to become one of the largest implementation partners of Identity and Access Management solutions in Australia. Open Windows built a significant client base of top tier organisations and a strong team of identity specialists based all over Australia who are engaged in some of the largest and most complex IAM projects in the country. The acquisition by EY will enable Open Windows IDENTITY the support and resources required to continue to grow the business.

The addition of Open Windows Identity and Access Management services will strengthen EY’s cyber-security advisory capability and will position EY to offer an integrated suite of cyber advisory services across the Asia-Pacific region. The acquired firm will become EY’s new regional Identity Management Centre of Excellence, led by current Open Windows IDENTITY CEO, Simon Adler, providing end-to-end identity management services to complement EY’s existing identity governance capability.
