Open Windows Software launches online learning portal for clients

 In News

Leading Australian software developer, Open Windows Software recently launched Open Windows eLearning, a new online learning resource for clients.

The eLearning platform is a web based portal, providing a dedicated library of online video tutorials and guides demonstrating functionality within the Open Windows software applications. The new educational resource was introduced to clients at the Open Windows National User Conference in October 2015, where users had the opportunity interact with the new software.

“Open Windows Modular Procurement software suite has vast functionality, and often we found that clients were not using the product to its full capacity. By providing more accessible learning resources our users will be able to identify new opportunities to improve processes and adopt new features, which will in turn help to maximise their investment and improve user satisfaction” says Open Windows CEO Adam McInnes.

The eLearning library is categorised by each Open Windows application, within each category the short video tutorials are around 3-5 minutes long and demonstrate how to use a feature or a process, for example “creating graphical processes” and “configuring your dashboard”.

McInnes states “eLearning will complement formal face to face training not replace. The best approach to adult learning is combining traditional learning and online learning resources to reinforce the message” “eLearning enables greater flexibility for clients, if someone misses a training session or you have a new employee, the portal provides ready-made training material, saving you time and money in additional onsite training”.

Open Windows will continue to add tutorials to the portal for a comprehensive video library on various Open Windows software functionality.

The Open Windows eLearning Portal is now available for clients on an annual subscription. For further information please contact Open Windows on 1300 73 90 73 or email [email protected].
