Open Windows Software is delighted to announce that through the ICT Services Scheme, it is now pre-qualified to supply its premium contract lifecycle management solution to NSW Government agencies.

Open Windows’ involvement in the scheme, which serves as a ‘whole-of-government mandated agreement for procuring IT goods and services’, was made a reality in late January.

Warren Shaw, Manager – Northern Region, says the arrangement is a great fit for NSW Government and Open Windows alike.

“For some time now, we’ve been focusing on delivering our integrated procurement, contract lifecycle and capital projects management solution to other state governments,” Warren explains.

“As part of our growth strategy, it made sense to pre-qualify on the NSW ICT Services Scheme to make it easier for NSW Government agencies to evaluate our capabilities.”

Open Windows’ participation in the scheme, Warren adds, will save government agencies plenty of time in the long run.

“They can simply select from a list of specialists knowing that these suppliers have been pre-qualified by the NSW Government. In other words, these suppliers meet an important standard, having provided demonstrable evidence of their proven solutions used by similar organisations.”

Warren says that Open Windows differs from other suppliers pre-qualified under the scheme due to its ability to “provide an end-to-end integrated procurement solution covering the full TEAM spectrum, i.e., Tendering → Evaluating → Awarding → Managing.”

“Put simply, data and information flows through automated workflow processes from pre-contract sourcing stages through to post-contract performance and delivery management. This maximises benefits realisation for agencies, and many of these be cannot be achieved with disparate point solutions.”

Importantly, Open Windows can also provide sourcing specialists with highly valuable contract/supplier management performance feedback.

“[They can then] leverage lessons learned and compare historical supplier performance to help them improve and enhance future sourcing evaluations and negotiations, effectively providing a continuous procurement improvement loop,” Warren says.

Under this scheme, Open Windows offers NSW Government more than just a contract management system.

“Our solution offers agencies a transformation from reactive to proactive procurement, contract and capital project management.”
