Succeed Through Sharing at the Open Windows 2020 National User Conference
The 2020 edition of the Open Windows National User Conference (OW2020) will zero in on the most popular and lesser known features of the Open Windows suite, enabling attendees to streamline their procurement practices, amidst shifting regulation within a post-COVID world.
OW2020 will be diverting from its traditional physical format this year, delivered as a series of bi-weekly interactive sessions throughout September.
Adam McInnes, Open Windows CEO says the conference aligns with Open Windows’ continued objectives for 2020.
“My goal for the company at the moment is to make all of the great things we do in the software even more streamlined,” Adam explains.
“So, we’re all about removing clicks and creating better ways to access the functionality we have. My hope is this year by attending the conference every user can take away one or more points that make their experience of using Open Windows just that little bit better.”
Open Windows Director Shane McInnes will open the conference on September 3, with a presentation on achieving socially sustainable procurement outcomes using the Open Windows SRM portal, Verified Supplier Network™ , and associated supplier questionnaires.
Shane will provide insight on getting to know your suppliers using these features, while unpacking the role of the self-disclosure questionnaires in shaping more transparent and mutually beneficial client-supplier relationships.
The conference will close on September 24, with a Local Government Spotlight presented by CT Management Group Managing Director Michael Courtney.
Michael will cover the forces driving change within the Local Government procurement sphere, including the implementation of the Local Government Act 2020, within a post-COVID Australia, and explore how best to tackle them, towards a more connected, integrated and communicative ‘21st Century Council’.
Open Windows’ internal consulting and product management teams, and an Open Windows client will round out the conference by taking a deep dive into various features, processes, and experiences.
General Manager Russell Doig and Enterprise Product Manager Ryan Newstead will run through the pain-free open windows 8 upgrade process, while Senior Consultant Melisa Perkins and Training Consultant Julie Ireland will provide primers on features including the Supplier Performance Screen, Separable Portions and Panel Contracts.
Melisa will also provide in-depth insights on using and accessing lesser-known open windows 8 features, including ‘Lessons Learnt’ Screens, Analytics Dashboard Widgets, and DocuSign integration.
Beyond providing value to clients through these practical sessions, OW2020 will enable clients to succeed through sharing, with the Open Windows team and with other clients.
“The session I’m looking forward to the most is the client case study, because I know how much our customers love hearing from other customers,” Adam says.
“This also allows me to hear directly from our customers about what we are doing right, and also what we can improve as a company.”
